Joanna Harlick

Joanna is our Rotorua based director and accountant and has over thirty years’ experience working in accounting firms. She brings extensive knowledge and experience when providing bookkeeping services. She has also worked as the office manager of two businesses and Finance Manager of a successful Tourism business, so has first-hand experience with what it’s like to run a business efficiently. Joanna loves systems and processes and has a real passion for adding value to all of her clients.

Megan Stewart

Megan is our Papamoa based director and accountant and has been in accounting and finance roles for over 19 years both within business operations and Chartered Accounting firms. Her extensive knowledge and experience covers all aspects of business finance from data entry right through to management reporting and annual accounting. Megan likes to challenge the norm and think outside the box to ensure businesses are running at their maximum potential, gaining maximum value for minimal cost.

Town & Country Accountants Limited

We have a very close working relationship with the Te Puna based Town & Country Accountants Limited. You will often find the staff of Total Accounting and Town & Country Accountants working together and sharing expertise. Megan often works from their offices too.

Bevan Spalding

Bevan is our tax consultant. He is a fully qualified Chartered Accountant who specialises in tax and business structuring. After starting his career with Inland Revenue where he spent approximately 11 years as a senior investigator, he then moved to public practice where he spent 9 years in senior tax manager roles in large accounting firms. Bevan has extensive commercial knowledge and has a real ability to connect with clients breaking numbers down in an easy to understand language.
